American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Class and Fundamentals of Instructor Training Classes offered at Maple Hill Pool  

For many years, Maple Hill has hosted the American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Course.  This course provides instructor candidates the training needed to teach American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety Programs.  This class will develop the understanding of how to use Red Cross course materials, how to conduct training sessions and how to evaluate students’ progress.  

The classes will be held at Maple Hill Pool on the following dates:

Maple Hill Pool is now accepting applications for summer employment.

Completed applications for the following management positions are due March 31, 2008:

Head Manager
Assistant Manager
Swim Lesson Coordinator
Swim Team Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Intern Coach

Completed applications for Lifeguards, Swim Lesson Instructors and Aides are due as soon as possible. Although there is no deadline, there are a limited number of positions available.  Interviews begin in Mid-April.  Positions will be filled with qualified candidates as soon as possible.
